Orange County Real Estate MarketWhen you need to know what the Orange County real estate market is doing, you need to take a look at this chart. This chart reflects how many homes are on the market in a given location and price range, and what the average Days-On-Market. This is a very good indicator how the overall condition of the market is. When inventory is high with DOM over 90 days, it's very much a buyers market. But if you see the inventory levels dropping, and the DOM under 60 days, it's on the cusp of buyers/sellers market. During this period you can usually find some good deals, but they are not plentiful. So keep on eye on the OC real estate market... by keeping an eye on the chart, you'll know which direction the market is heading.
